Approach It Properly
 What
most businesses and many internet marketers for that matter
fail to understand, is that the internet today is a cohesive
marketing world full of opportunity, but also full of
competition. The rewards are there, but it needs to be given
due respect. You cannot approach internet marketing with a
"tinkering" frame of mind anymore. It is just not enough to
put a website up and hope for the best. You need to approach
internet marketing with a robust and comprehensive strategy
and commit to implementing that strategy. Otherwise your
dollars will be lost and you will have wasted everyone's time as no-one will find your website and therefore, it will never make a sale.
I launched my company Ocean Feather Pty Ltd back in 2003/2004.
It was born out of a love for travel and a love for sports
which rely on the weather (surfing, kite surfing and
snowboarding). The concept was simple. I wanted to build a
business which would free me of the constraints which were
restricting me from traveling more often and spending more
time enjoying my sports. (More about

Today I find myself in 2009, running a bunch of my own
internet based businesses from the Gold Coast in Queensland.
Having developed and refined my own internet marketing skills,
trialing them on my own businesses and proving they work, I
now help a very exclusive number of businesses with their
internet marketing.
Marketing on the internet is unlike any other form of
marketing. It constantly evolves, it constantly moves, it
constantly presents new opportunities. To get it right over
the fullness of time requires full time attention. It
requires this commitment as you not only need to complete the
tasks to market your business today, but you also need to keep
abreast of innovations and changes in the industry to ensure
competitiveness tomorrow.
I understand that most small and medium sized businesses do
not have the time or the budget to employ a full time resource
to do this. Your business is not internet marketing, it is the
products and services you are selling. This is why, I assume,
you are here. You are looking for someone to give proper
attention to marketing your business online, leaving you to
run your business.
This is why I have set up the Ocean Feather website, to offer

In running my own internet
based businesses, it has become my full time job to keep

Gold Coast Surfboards), which are primarily marketed on
the internet, continue to be viable. I've already done the
