SEO - Why Use Niche Language?
Niche language is a buzzword you will often see tossed about by experts in SEO (search engine optimization. All niche language is are the terms and phrases in that are most commonly used by people when they type what they are looking for into a search engine. These are exactly the keywords and phrases that you need to incorporate into your blogs, web pages, index titles and in context and out of context titles (descriptions for the search engines) to increase business. Niche language is important as it is noted and collected by the search engine spiders that play such an important part in determining your search page rankings. The more rich with niche keywords your online copy is to the search engine spiders, the more likely you will be indexed and the more likely people are to find you (which of course increases your sales.) Employing niche language doesn’t have to be as technical as it sounds.
Sure you can buy lots of e-books, e-courses and programs around the subject but nothing works as well as your intuition and plain ordinary common sense when it comes to determining what your customers are looking for when they type search phrases into a popular engine like Google. You might need to learn a bit about html and where to take a gander at popular keywords as is available on the overture inventory keyword site. It means knowing how to phrase things so that computers understand the language of what it is you are trying to convey or sell and combine that knowledge of what linguistics that your customers are likely to use when they go searching for things on the Internet. Sometimes coming up with niche language is so specialized, as would be the case with skateboarding, and has so much lingo that there is nobody more expert in the world than someone who actually uses the product. This in fact is one of the best ways to research niche language – get the lingo down from a true consumer even if (as is the case with skateboarder) the user is only ten years old!.
